A Chalet in the mountains has long been our dream and has recently become a wonderful reality.
We have been building a sort of ultimate wish list for if we'd ever be fortunate enough to build our own 'home away from home'.
With Chalet "Above & Beyond" we have come very close to ticking all the boxes on that list. We have given our Chalet all the comfort, features and above all cosy-ness, we have always looked for ourselves during our vacations.
Now, our goal is to make you feel at home as much as we do!

A bit of ECO responsibility
In today's time, finding a project built ecologically, but still with all modern comfort, at 1800 meters high, fitted us very well. Turracher Hohe is a small family-oriented resort with respect to the nature that gives it it's charm. Turrach also prides itself on the high-quality piste preparation in winter and the beautiful wander and cycle trails around the three lakes in summer.

The chalet offers a full range of modern comforts
The Chalet
135 m2 of warm (all underfloor heating), modern, wooden alpine comfort over 2 floors.
Double-bed master bedroom with own TV and en-suite bathroom with rain shower, designer bath, toilet and double sink. Three more double-bed bedrooms, each with their own en-suite toilet, sink and rain shower. Covered porch with ski lockers. A large entrance with 10 pair heated ski-boot racks. Ski-in right to the entrance of the chalet.
The kitchen
Open designer kitchen with Bora ceramic hub, extended kitchen work area and - cupboard space. Extensive kitchen appliances with a.o. AEG oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee & Nespresso machine, watercooker, etc.
Only add the groceries and make Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner like a gourmet chef, while taking part in all the conversations right in front of you.
Entertainment
Modern entertainment with free WIFI and 55" interactive TV but also plenty of old fashioned family (board)-games. Large high-ceiling living/dining room with spectacular all-glass ski-slope views of the "Nockberge" mountains. With an expanded kitchen-top and -storage and a great dining area those dine-in evenings will be great fun for all!
Wellness
Private wellness area with rain shower, toilet, sink, Finnish sauna and open doors to the dedicated covered cool-off balcony with outside hot-tub. Two large front-side sunny south facing balconies with (dinner) chairs/tables and sunbeds. Ecologically built amidst a pine wood with a protected high-altitude moor as backyard.
Car & care
Under-stairs cupboard with washer and dryer. Minimum of two dedicated parking places and private 380 watt Type 2 power socket for complementary electrical car charging. Plenty more free parking in front of the chalet. Complementary washer and drier and ample storage and hanging space throughout the Chalet.
Activities
High-altitude 1800 mtr snow security with family friendly ski-pistes from 1 400 to 2200 mtrs, ample off-piste fun and the unique "Pisten-Butler". Additional fun & snowpark, Nocky Flitzer alpine coaster, cross- country skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling and see-taxi over Turracher See. Summer fun with (mountain) biking, hiking, climbing, tobogganing, swimming, fishing, SUP boarding, golf (25 and 40 km) and horseriding (25 km).
Above all, we believe that Chalet Above & Beyond has two key "pamper" and "privacy" features for your ultimate luxury experience
Pamper
Endulge yourself in the luxury of your own wellness center within the Chalet. Enjoy the Finnish Sauna, cool off and relax on your balcony, take a dive in your Hot Tub and finish it all off under the rain shower.
Privacy
Why share a bathroom if you can all have your own? Each of our 4 double-bed bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom with rain shower, sink and toilet. The master bedroom also has a designer bath and an electric towel heater to make it all complete.
Why would you accept less on your holiday?!
Ski-in (Ski-out)
Yes, you can ski straight back to the chalet from the Kornock, Shaffalm or Hirschkogellift!
Take a look at the YouTube video to ski along on the prepared Alpsweg all the way right to your doorstep.
For the more experienced/adventurous skiers ski-out to the Zirbenwald lift is also possible, but only when there is enough snow and you are ok to follow along the side of the road of the Alpenparkweg and the Oberer Barbaraweg. ( Note this is not a prepared ski-route! )
